Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Gmail Protector browser extension (the "Service") operated by Ayato Studio ("us", "we", or "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Gmail Protector is a Chrome extension designed to help users prevent accidental data leakage via email. It uses Google's Gemini API to scan outgoing emails and attachments for sensitive information based on user configurations.
3. Privacy and Data Security
Your privacy is important to us. Our use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
You understand that the Service transmits your email content to Google's Gemini API for analysis. While we do not store this content, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with your organization's data security policies.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials (such as API keys) that you use to access the Service. You agree not to disclose your credentials to any third party. You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location; or that any errors or defects will be corrected.
The AI analysis provided by the Service is probabilistic and may produce false positives or false negatives. We do not guarantee that the Service will detect all sensitive information. You rely on the Service's detection capabilities at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Ayato Studio be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of Ayato Studio and its developers shall not exceed the amount you paid to access the Service, or 1,000 JPY if you have not paid any fees.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
